Pedestal Color

Preserved moss in a 12" round paulownia pedestal bowl. Deeper and fuller than our smaller pedestal — a proper coffee-table or dining-table centerpiece, raised on a footed base.

The Design

Preserved mood moss packed densely across the full width, mounded slightly so it reads as one continuous cushion. The pedestal foot lifts it off the surface, giving it presence without height that gets in the way of conversation.

Uses

Coffee tables, round dining tables, entryway consoles, and sideboards. At 12" it holds a surface on its own without needing anything alongside it.

Care

  • No watering, sunlight, or pruning required
  • Indoor display only
  • Keep out of direct sunlight and away from moisture
  • Dust with a hairdryer on a low, cool setting
  • Typical display life is 5–10 years indoors

Handmade Variation

Each bowl is hand-carved from solid wood, so dimensions vary slightly and each carries its own grain and small irregularities. Moss colour and arrangement vary too. Yours will not be identical to the photograph.

Natural Scent

Preserved moss carries a mild organic scent for the first days after unpacking. This is normal and fades. It is not a defect, and we don't accept returns on this basis.

If Something Arrives Damaged

Email wendy@rootsofearthco.com within 48 hours with photographs of the piece and the packaging, and keep the box. Shipments are insured and we will make it right.

Returns

Each piece is made to order, so we don't accept returns or exchanges. If anything is wrong with your order, contact us — we would always rather fix it than leave you unhappy.
