The Design

Preserved pole moss built up into a deep, textured surface and set into a solid wood frame. Where our aluminium-framed round is quiet and minimal, this one has presence — the wood frame gives it weight and finish, and the moss is worked with more depth.

Sizes

• 12" diameter — approximately 8 lb
• 24" diameter
• 36" diameter — approximately 25 lb

Larger and non-round formats available on request.

Options

• Frame: Black, White, Dark Wood, or Light Wood
• Moss: Dark green pole moss, light green pole moss, or mixed / variated
• Personalisation: optional laser-cut name, logo, or branding

Mixed moss reads with more depth and movement; a single moss reads quieter and more architectural.

Hanging

Arrives ready to hang. These are substantial pieces — the 24" and 36" in particular need a stud or a wall anchor rated for the weight, not a plain nail in plasterboard. If you're unsure about your wall, ask us before ordering.

Made for Walls That Get Looked At

Offices, reception areas, retail, restaurants, tasting rooms, or a statement wall at home. Preserved moss needs no light and no water, so it holds up in interior spaces where a living wall would fail.

Care

• No watering, sunlight, or pruning required
• Indoor display only
• Keep out of direct sunlight and away from moisture — not suitable for bathrooms
• Dust with a hairdryer on a low, cool setting
• Typical display life is 5–10 years indoors

Handmade Variation

Every piece is built by hand, so moss colour, density, and surface texture vary between pieces. Wood grain varies too. Yours will not be identical to the photograph.

Natural Scent

Preserved moss carries a mild organic scent for the first days after unpacking. This is normal and fades. It is not a defect, and we don't accept returns on this basis.

Processing & Shipping

• Personalised pieces: 3–4 weeks from proof approval
• Non-personalised pieces: 7–10 business days
• We ship worldwide — shipping calculated at checkout
• Duties and import taxes are collected at checkout on international orders
• All shipments are insured
• The 36" ships in an oversized carton — shipping costs more than the smaller sizes

If Something Arrives Damaged

Email wendy@rootsofearthco.com within 48 hours with photographs of the piece and the packaging, and keep the box. Shipments are insured and we will make it right.

Returns

These are made to order and often personalised, so we don't accept returns or exchanges. That's why we send a proof first — nothing gets cut until you've approved it.
