Color

Preserved moss in a long, low paulownia dough bowl — 28" end to end, 8" across, and only 2.25" deep. The shallow trough shape runs down a table without blocking the view across it.

The Design

One of the lowest profiles in our range at just 2.25" deep, which makes it a good choice for a dining table where you want green down the centre but nothing in the way of conversation.

  • Hand-carved paulownia wood — lightweight, with visible natural grain
  • Real preserved mood moss
  • Three finishes: Black, Grey, or Brown

Uses

Dining tables, kitchen islands, consoles, and mantels. Suits a six-seat table well — long enough to fill the centre, low enough to see over.

Care

  • No watering, sunlight, or pruning required
  • Indoor display only
  • Keep out of direct sunlight and away from moisture
  • Dust with a hairdryer on a low, cool setting
  • Typical display life is 5–10 years indoors

Handmade Variation

Every bowl is hand-carved from solid wood, so dimensions vary slightly and each carries its own grain, tool marks, and small irregularities. Moss colour and arrangement vary too. Yours will not be identical to the photograph.

Natural Scent

Preserved moss carries a mild organic scent for the first days after unpacking. This is normal and fades. It is not a defect, and we don't accept returns on this basis.

If Something Arrives Damaged

Email wendy@rootsofearthco.com within 48 hours with photographs of the piece and the packaging, and keep the box. Shipments are insured and we will make it right.

Returns

Each piece is made to order, so we don't accept returns or exchanges. If anything is wrong with your order, contact us — we would always rather fix it than leave you unhappy.
