Custom Moss Designs
Not every space is served by something off the shelf. We customize in two ways: the moss and finish on our centerpieces, and made-to-size moss wall art built around a frame we have made for you.
Custom Centerpieces & Bowls
Our bowls, troughs, and vessels come in a set range of shapes and sizes. We don't carve them to arbitrary dimensions — but within the sizes we carry, there's a lot you can make your own:
- Moss color — dark green mood moss, light green pole moss, reindeer moss, or a mixed, variated blend
- Foliage and accents — preserved ferns, driftwood, river stones, and crystals worked into the design
- Arrangement style — from quiet and architectural to full and textural
- Wood finish — unfinished, or stained black, dark walnut, antique white, gray, or mahogany
Have a vessel you love? If you already own a bowl, trough, or planter, we can moss it for you in your choice of moss and design.
Custom Moss Wall Art — Made to Your Size
Wall art is where we build to order. We work with a dedicated frame maker, so we can produce most sizes and frame styles — round, square, rectangular, and multi-panel — then fill them with the moss and design you choose. We use the highest-grade preserved moss available, which is why our custom work holds its color and texture for years.

These are guides, not quotes. Final pricing depends on size, vessel, and complexity.
Lead Times
- Customized centerpieces: 2–3 weeks from design approval
- Wall art: 3–4 weeks, as the frame is made to order
- Large installations and logo work: 4–6 weeks
Lead times run from design approval and are separate from carrier transit time, which begins once your piece ships.
Working to a fixed date — an event, an install, a photoshoot? Tell us early and we'll confirm whether it is achievable before you commit.
How It Works
- Tell us about the space. Dimensions, the surface it will sit on or the wall it will hang on, and the feeling you're after. Photographs help enormously.
- We propose a design. Vessel or frame, moss, finish, size, and price.
- You approve. Nothing is made until you're happy with the plan. For wall art we send a proof before the frame is built.
- We build it. Made by hand in our Sonoma County studio.
- We pack and ship it insured. Larger pieces are crated.
