A hand-formed sphere of preserved moss. Set one on a shelf, group a few in a bowl, or start with one of each size. No pot, no water, no upkeep.
The Design
Preserved moss worked by hand into a dense sphere, so the surface is soft and even the whole way round with no bare patches or visible seam. They hold their shape and can be handled.

Styling
Odd numbers group better than even. Three of mixed sizes in a shallow bowl or tray reads more naturally than a matched pair. They also work scattered along a table runner, on a bookshelf, or in a glass cloche.

Care
- No watering, sunlight, or pruning required
- Indoor display only
- Keep out of direct sunlight and away from moisture
- Dust with a hairdryer on a low, cool setting
- Typical display life is 5–10 years indoors
Handmade Variation
Each sphere is formed by hand, so size varies slightly and moss colour and texture differ between pieces. In a set, they will not be identical to one another — that variation is what makes a group look natural.
Natural Scent
Preserved moss carries a mild organic scent for the first days after unpacking. This is normal and fades. It is not a defect, and we don't accept returns on this basis.

If Something Arrives Damaged
Email wendy@rootsofearthco.com within 48 hours with photographs of the piece and the packaging, and keep the box. Shipments are insured and we will make it right.
Returns
Each piece is made to order, so we don't accept returns or exchanges. If anything is wrong with your order, contact us — we would always rather fix it than leave you unhappy.
