Ceramic Moss Bowl

A small bowl of preserved moss in a matte ceramic vessel. Desk-and-shelf scale — quiet enough for an office, and it groups well in twos and threes.

The Design

A simple matte ceramic bowl with no pattern or glaze detail, so the moss carries the piece. Preserved moss packed densely and mounded slightly above the rim.

Materials & Finishes

• Matte ceramic vessel in black or white
• Real preserved moss

Styling

Three at staggered heights on a shelf, or a pair flanking something taller. Black reads sharper and more modern; white recedes and suits a softer palette. A set of three in one colour looks deliberate; mixed colours look collected.

Uses

Desks and home offices, bookshelves, bathroom counters, bedside tables, and conference rooms. A practical choice for windowless spaces where a living plant wouldn't survive.

Care

• No watering, sunlight, or pruning required
• Indoor display only
• Keep out of direct sunlight and away from moisture
• Dust with a hairdryer on a low, cool setting
• Typical display life is 5–10 years indoors

Handmade Variation

Moss colour, density, and arrangement vary between pieces, and the ceramic carries slight tonal variation. Yours will not be identical to the photograph.

Natural Scent

Preserved moss carries a mild organic scent for the first days after unpacking. This is normal and fades. It is not a defect, and we don't accept returns on this basis.

If Something Arrives Damaged

Email wendy@rootsofearthco.com within 48 hours with photographs of the piece and the packaging, and keep the box. Shipments are insured and we will make it right.

Returns

Each piece is made to order, so we don't accept returns or exchanges. If anything is wrong with your order, contact us — we would always rather fix it than leave you unhappy.
