Moss Centerpiece Trough – Bronze Patina Aluminum Preserved Natural Table Display

A narrow aluminium trough in an aged bronze patina, filled with preserved moss. The patina gives it weight and age that a plain metal vessel doesn't have — an alternative to wood for rooms where a dough bowl would read too rustic.

The Design

The trough is narrow and low, so it runs down a table without taking the surface over. The bronze patina is applied by hand and varies piece to piece — mottled, slightly uneven, closer to weathered metal than a uniform coating.

Heights include the moss. Both sizes share the same profile — only the length changes.

They're designed to work together — staggered along a long dining table or console, or set at right angles on a larger surface. The repeated profile at two lengths reads as one considered arrangement rather than two separate objects.

• Wipe the metal with a dry cloth only — cleaning products will strip the patina

Handmade Variation

The patina is applied by hand, so no two troughs are the same. Moss colour, density, and arrangement vary too. Yours will not be identical to the photograph.

Natural Scent

Preserved moss carries a mild organic scent for the first days after unpacking. This is normal and fades. It is not a defect, and we don't accept returns on this basis.

Does the Moss Look Fake?

No — it's real moss, preserved rather than living, so it keeps its natural texture and colour variation. Most people assume it's alive until they touch it.
