Moss color

A deep, wide dough bowl filled with preserved moss — 26 inches across and considerably more generous than our shallow runner bowls. The depth lets the moss mound properly, so it reads as a substantial object rather than a line down the table.

The Design

A deep-carved European-style dough bowl, wider and heavier in profile than the flat runner bowls. Preserved mood moss is packed in and mounded above the rim, so the piece has real volume.

Dimensions

  • 26" long × 12" wide × 6" high, including the moss

Because the bowls are hand-carved, length runs 25–27" and width 10–12" from piece to piece.

Choosing Your Moss

Dark green is a single even colour — quieter and more architectural, and it recedes into a room. Mixed combines several greens and textures for more depth and movement, and reads as the more organic of the two.

Uses

Dining tables, kitchen islands, and console tables. At 12" wide it suits a round or square table particularly well, where a long narrow bowl would look stranded.

Care

  • No watering, sunlight, or pruning required
  • Indoor display only
  • Keep out of direct sunlight and away from moisture
  • Dust with a hairdryer on a low, cool setting
  • Typical display life is 5–10 years indoors

Handmade Variation

Every bowl is hand-carved from solid wood, so dimensions vary within the ranges above and each carries its own grain and small irregularities. Moss colour and arrangement vary too. Yours will not be identical to the photograph.

Natural Scent

Preserved moss carries a mild organic scent for the first days after unpacking. This is normal and fades. It is not a defect, and we don't accept returns on this basis.
